The walk starts from Capanna Alpina in San Cassiano and climbs steeply up to the Col de Locia. From here, continue up the valley through pine forests to a wide open plain and you will then reach the Fanes-plateau. After that you can choose either to descend to Pederü (San Vigilio) or to return along the same trail to San Cassiano.
